Mediation Program

Mediation is a voluntary and confidential process in which parties meet with a neutral third party mediator to discuss their issues.  The mediator does not act as an attorney or judge and will not resolve your issues for you.  The role of the mediator is to facilitate discussion directed at resolving the issues between the parties.  If you are not sure if your dispute/issue is appropriate for mediation or you wish to participate in the mediation process, you may come to the Prosecutor’s Office at 375 South High Street , 7th Floor  Columbus, OH 43215.  A representative from the Intake Section will answer your questions and/or assist you in scheduling a mediation hearing.
